Konstantin Arakelov is a wonderful violin teacher. He teaches violin to my daughter (10 years old) once a week at our home and he teaches her a Violin Ensemble once a week. Konstantin has a contagious enthusiasm for playing the violin. Initially, my daughter started taking violin at her school, as part of the 4th grade program, and was struggling to keep up with her peers. In fact, she wanted to give up playing the violin. I asked Konstantin to help out. My original intention was just to get my daughter through the year. However, to my surprise, she really started to like playing the violin. She looks forward to her lessons with Konstantin and has gotten quite good at playing the violin in the past year. This is due to Konstantin's teaching ability and his ability to make learning the violin fun and enjoyable to his students.

I would enthusiastically recommend Konstantin to anyone leaning to play the violin. He is a great teacher!

Konstantin Arakelov began teaching my daughter the violin 6 months ago. The gains that my daughter has made over the course of the last 6 months under the tutelage of Konstantin have been remarkable.  My violinist mother was a long time string instructor for the Brookline school system and my father was a professional violinist with the Boston Symphony Orchestra and both have commented on my daughter's remarkable success with the violin this year.
